This service is delivered through the GP Practice and WHERE and will be working in partnership with Wellington Healthy Living Centre . The service provides information on a wide range of conditions via leaflets and via the Internet. It also provides information on local support groups and national organisations.

Drop-In Café
Held at the Kings Centre, the WHERE Café, opens on Wednesday mornings from 10.00 am until 12 noon . It provides a safe, friendly environment for people to meet and chat, have a cup of coffee and maybe take part in a number of Occupational Therapy activities. It's co-ordinated and managed by one member of staff who has an additional helper.

The number of visitors varies from week to week and we're hoping to be able to provide transport for those who are unable to get to the café unaided, by providing volunteer car drivers. This will increase the numbers at the café, which means we'll be able to open more frequently.

We have books on sale, hold raffles and will have a programme of presentations from health professionals on various topics throughout the year. As visitor numbers increase we will also be providing more varied occupational activities and we will also be running some other training courses e.g. basic computer work.
